Last preparations and Start of the ARC + 2024

Once our crew was reunited (Jolanda had been away on a business trip to Paris), we spent the final days preparing for the journey. This included climbing up the mast, organizing provisions, and taking care of the laundry. We also took some time to enjoy Gran Canaria and savor the local cuisine.

The race kicked off today at 1 PM, and I think we did pretty well at the starting line. If you’d like to follow along, you can do so on the World Cruising website. Just select ARC+ and look for Isabel.
