My plan was to run at least one Marathon a year and this year I decided to run the Frankfurt Marathon. Somehow my Family got excited as well and they started to sign up for a few runs.
I did some research and found out that the Frankfurt Marathon offers also a relay for a team of four. So Jolanda, my sister Christina, my niece Antonia and my sistes partner Matthias signed up. For my sister and her family it was the first big running event.
The weather was perfect, not too cold or hot and the start was at 1015am, so we did not have to wake up too early.
As you can see everyone enjoyed the run and the Marathon was very well organized with a lot of music bands on the way.
We spend one more day in Frankfurt and then flew off to our next big adventure…..
