After leaving Frankfurt, we flew to Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, where our friends Weed and Paul welcomed us. We enjoyed our first sail on their fabulous Southerly sailboat, Isabel, and even pitched in with some maintenance. The highlight of the week was the parade featuring all the Rally participants.
We’re eagerly anticipating the race start next Sunday! Until then, we’ll be practicing, attending seminars, and enjoying some wonderful dinners here in Spain.
