Parasailing along nicely. Found some large areas of floating weeds!
Crew are showered, fed & watered and doing well, some even managing to work-out (even the skipper did press-ups & sit-ups!)
Not much happened today, except for a little bird that flew into our galley (kitchen) for a quick break. I managed to persuade our feathered friend that we’re not set up for hitchhikers, and off it went on its way. Meanwhile, the race in our category is heating up—we’re back in 2nd place… Whoohoo!
I wanted to share some pictures from a beautiful hike we did in Cape Verde. Originally, we had planned a guided private hike on a nearby island, but when we arrived at the ferry, it was fully booked. So, we improvised and organized our own hike on St. Vincent. We took a taxi to the island’s highest peak and hiked back down to the marina—a 10-mile journey that took about 5 hours. Along the way, we enjoyed a lovely lunch at a local restaurant.
